Spring Session Starts April 5th.

I will be teaching one more session before the summer hits. Registration will begin in a week or so as I am just finishing up the scheduling. The session will be 8 weeks long beginning April 5th and running through May 24th. The Monday classes will finish May 31st to take into account the May Monday holiday.
Classes will include:
Creative Movement for children ages3-5

The ever popular Adult Ballet open to the young at heart

Beginner Ballet for children ages 6-8.

As always, current students get a window for priority registration. After that, it is open to all. If you are interested in joining us for the Spring term, send me a message using the contact button or fill out a registration form and I will get back to you on availability.

I hope to have a set schedule of classes up by the end of this week, by March 12-13th or so.

I am also wondering if there is an interest in a Creative Movement class for older children ages 6-8 maybe? If you are interested or know someone who might be, drop me a line. If the demand is great enough, I will try and add a class.

Adult Ballet and Beginner Ballet classes are FULL.

Thank you for the amazing response once again. It is so wonderful to see such enthusiasm for the art of Dance alive here in the Gatineau Hills. Both of these classes are now full but I would be happy to take anyone's contact information for future classes, just use the contact button on the menu and see me a note. There are still a few spots for both Creative Movement classes so spread the word!

Winter Session enrollment begins December 11th!

The snow is just arriving and the Winter schedule has been set. In an attempt to get things set before the Holidays, I am starting enrollment for the next session on December 11th. I am offering 2 Creative Movement classes this term in hopes of keeping up with the demand. Beginner Ballet will also be offered as well as the very popular Adult Ballet. Currently, Adult Ballet is almost full as many are returning for the fun, but if you are interested, send me a message and I will let you know what is happening with space availability. The Tuesday class is still being set with time as it is dependent upon the Yoga schedule that has not been set yet. I am pulling for 4:30 but there is the possibility that it would be at 4.

Monday 4:30-5:15pm, Creative Movement ages 3-5

Tuesday 4:15-5:00pm, Creative Movement ages 3-5

Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm, Adult Ballet, open to all adults.

Thursday 4:30-5:30pm, Beginner Ballet ages 6-9

All classes will run 10 weeks starting the week of January 11th. Tuition for the Creative Movement is $135 for the 10 weeks. Adult Ballet tuition is $125 for the 10 weeks. Payment is due the first class.

Class Attire for Creative Movement

Wondering what to dress your child in when you send them to class? The choice is yours. Because this is a creative movement class for very young children, there is no strict dress code, but just be mindful that they will be moving around a lot and we do not want any injuries due to slipping or catching on clothing or accessories. A leotard and tights is the standard dress code for a ballet class, but if this is not feasible, just make sure they are wearing something comfortable that they can move around in but nothing too loose or baggy.

Class attire for Beginning Ballet and Adult Ballet

For those of you wondering what to wear or what your child should wear, here are a few guidelines.
The Beginning Ballet has a uniform consisting of a pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Short skirts are allowed, but please keep in mind I will need to see the body outline in order to make proper corrections. Please make sure their hair is pulled back and neat so that nothing is getting into their eyes. If you have questions on where to purchase anything, feel free to contact me.

Thinking ahead to Fall.

Summer is starting to really heat up and vacations are just around the corner. However, before you know it, September will be here. So, while we are enjoying the sunshine, I am also thinking ahead to the fall session of classes. I am working on a schedule right now and will be posting updates as things get worked out and confirmed. I am also on the search for a place to have some adult classes. I need a space that is available at night, that has a good floor space and can store a few barres. If anyone knows of any place, let me know! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing you all in a few months.
