Welcome to the Wakefield Ballet. Please excuse our simplicity as our website is still in its infancy and a work in progress.I am a recently retired professional Ballet dancer of over 15 years who has danced in companies big and small and had the opportunity to travel the globe doing what I loved. When my family and I moved here to Wakefield 2 years ago, I was shocked that in this amazing artistic community, there was no dance being offered. I felt that I needed to fix that. I love this community and felt I needed to do my part to contribute the the artistic energy of the town. So here I am. Currently available on the site, you can find out the class descriptions for all of the classes now being offered and their schedules, as well as a little bit about me.  My hopes for Wakefield Ballet are to bring the art form that I hold so dear to my heart and share it with the wonderful people of this community. I am pleased to offer Beginning Ballet for the older children this year as well as an Adult Ballet class. I am sure there are a few of you out there who still have secret dreams of being a ballerina!  I am still getting a feel for what is needed here in the area and welcome your comments or suggestions to help me develop a class schedule to accommodate as many as are interested.
