Two New Classes for the Fall.

We are pleased to be adding two new classes for the fall session. Thursday afternoons we are offering a Beginning Ballet class for children ages 6-8. This hour long class will help to familiarize the students with the vocabulary as well as the basic positions and steps used in Ballet. These class are more structured and more disciplined than the Creative Movement classes and are intended for an older child who can follow directions and focus their attention for the entire hour. A uniform and proper ballet slippers are required.

Wednesday nights we will be adding an Adult Ballet class. This class is intended for all ages, sexes and levels. Whether you have had Ballet classes before as a child or adult, or just always dreamed of being a ballerina, this class is for you. Ballet is a wonderful form of exercise helping to promote long, lean muscles, as well as strengthen your core. It helps with coordination and flexibility not to mention it is a lot of fun. It is a great way to get some exercise and meet some new people. While the art form is a disciplined one, classes will be low key, meant to teach the basics and focus on the movement of dance.
