Wondering what to dress your child in when you send them to class? The choice is yours. Because this is a creative movement class for very young children, there is no strict dress code, but just be mindful that they will be moving around a lot and we do not want any injuries due to slipping or catching on clothing or accessories. A leotard and tights is the standard dress code for a ballet class, but if this is not feasible, just make sure they are wearing something comfortable that they can move around in but nothing too loose or baggy. Girls should tie their hair back so that they can see and don't not have to fuss with hair in their face. The floors in the studio are wooden and can be slippery so if ballet slippers are not worn, bare feet are best.
